FEATURE NEWS : BC Soccer Unveils New Logo and Honours Soccer Enthusiasts at Annual Awards Banquet
BC Soccer unveiled its new logo Saturday night at the 2009 Annual Awards Banquet at the Delta Vancouver Airport hotel in Richmond. The new emblem is designed to go hand-in-hand with a celebration of the common interests that bring us together - Global Game. Universal Passion.

Canadian soccer sensation Christine Sinclair is one of five finalists for the SportsFunder Community Champion Award.
Cast your vote for the athlete who you think has made the most extraordinary contribution on and off the field and has inspired others to get involved in sport and do the same. The winner will be presented at the 43rd Athlete of the Year Awards on Tuesday, March 24, 2009.

For many athletes, the BC Disability Games represent the most important event of the year. The Games provide an opportunity for novice athletes to experience competition, and for elite athletes to qualify for national and international events, and to serve as role models for other athletes with a physical disability or sensory impairment.




FEATURE NEWS : BC REFEREE MICHELLE PYE SELECTED FOR FINAL ROUNDS AT FIFA U17 WOMEN'S WORLD CUP
West Vancouver resident Michelle Pye has been selected among the final group of referees to officiate the closing rounds of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup soccer game in New Zealand.

Only five referees and 10 assistants were chosen from a crop of 14 referees and 26 assistant referees who participated at this event. The final rounds consist of the semi final, final, and consolation final.

We are excited to announce that grants are now available for U12 Soccer Festivals throughout the province of BC.  These festivals will help promote and develop soccer at the grassroots level.  The assistance of grants and promotional aids (website, magazine, etc.)  are designed to help you run the festival event in your own community.
