With the aim of submitting a report to the BCSA Board of Directors for presentation at the Semi Annual General Meeting, a Boundary Review Committee meeting has now been scheduled to gather information relating to the boundary structure of the Youth Districts of the British Columbia Soccer Association.

The first meeting to begin the process for a boundary review for youth districts will take place on October 20 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Executive Inn in Burnaby located at 4201 Lougheed Hwy, Burnaby. Boardroom B.

As you can see from the terms of reference there is a timeline in place for completion of this review.

The tentative time table will be as follows: 

1. First meeting to identify areas of concern with regards to boundaries and establish a process for dealing with these areas.
2. Time period for districts to prepare written documentation for support of any proposed changes to boundaries.
3. Hold a second meeting on November 10 to continue with the process, as the focus should now be on a few areas.
4. Preliminary report to the Board of Directors and membership at the semi annual.
5. Complete any substantive changes to the wording of the bylaws if major changes are to be proposed. Review the bylaws to see if any housekeeping amendments need to be made.
6. Submit proposed bylaw changes to the constitution committee for presentation at the next AGM.
