 You've taken the course and passed the Referees' exam. Maybe you've even started refereeing. NOW WHAT? The British Columbia Soccer Referees Association (BCSRA) is the voice for all levels of Referee's in British Columbia and is an advocate for all referees. Its membership consists of dedicated referees, instructors and/or assessors that are involved in the game from the grass roots level all the way through to the Professional and International Levels. The BCSRA holds Associate Membership with the BC Soccer Association, soccer's provincial governing body, and representatives from the BCSRA are members of BC Soccer's Referee Development Committee The BCSRA is also one of the inaugural members of the Canadian Soccer Referees' Association.
The BCSRA encourages all referees to be united in their approach to the game of soccer, strive for excellence and to display a positive approach toward the game at all times.
As a member of the BCSRA, and especially as a member of a local Area Association, the referee has a place to present his or her thoughts, concerns, and ideas relating to refereeing matters, including the provincial development of themselves and his or her colleagues. It also allows the referee to be involved in advanced educational sessions, and in some areas, regularly scheduled training sessions.

The Membership has endorsed the 2007 / 2008 Membership fees as follows:
- Class 4 member: $10 (Direct or Area Association)
- Class 3 and higher member:
- Up to 18 yrs of age = $20 (Direct or Area Association
- 19yrs of age = $30 (Direct or Area Association)
- 20 yrs of age = $40 (Direct or Area Association)
- 21 yrs of age or older = $50 Area Association ($40 for Direct members)
- Associate (i.e. "Retired or On-Leave from Refereeing") - member $20 (Direct or Area Association)
Direct members are those that live in a geographic region not served by an Area Association of the BCSRA.
