As an association we are continually looking to improve in all aspects, with the ultimate goal of providing further enhanced levels of service to our Membership. In support of this objective and to ensure ease of compliance with Rule 22a*, BC Soccer has partnered with myBackCheck.com as the preferred Criminal Record Check provider for the association.
This online system provides an alternative to making a trip to the police station, standing in line and then repeating the process to get your results, all members of BC Soccer can now complete a Criminal Record Check from the comfort of home. Using bank-grade data security, myBackCheck.com streamlines the process to get you results guaranteed within one business day. Because of the agreement we have reached with myBackCheck.com, they will provide this option at a discounted price of $25 plus GST for all BC Soccer member coaches, officials, volunteers and staff. Additionally, myBackCheck.com allows coaches, officials, volunteers and staff to share the results of their criminal record check with any other organization at no further cost. All it takes is a click of the mouse.
We strongly encourage you to register your own association / organization; we want you to see how easy and convenient it is to use myBackCheck.com. We would like to share our excitement for the program with you and see you spread the word within the soccer and sporting community.
We believe myBackCheck.com provides an infrastructure to make sure everybody is properly screened, for the safety and wellbeing of the youth playing soccer in our province. We realize that some associations are not charged for criminal record checks by local police departments. However, this process is often very time consuming, returns are slow, and management of the returns is very difficult. Association members being screened may well find that the cost negotiated with myBackCheck.com is well worth paying for the convenience, ease of use and online secure management of the data.
