We are saddened to hear of the passing of Roman Tulis, long time coach in the British Columbia soccer community. Roman passed away Thursday March 4, 2010 surrounded by family after a long and hard battle with colon cancer.
He always had a positive attitude and will always be remembered for the big smile he brought to everything he did, and he even had it on those rain days at the soccer field. He will be greatly missed by everyone who met him.
Prayers will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 315 Walker St. in Coquitlam, on Monday March 15 at 7pm. The next day at noon, a funeral mass will be held.
The family has requested in-lieu of cards and flowers that anyone wishing to, would kindly donate funds in Roman’s name to the British Columbia Childhood Cancer Patient’s Association (
www.bcccpa.org).
