This past weekend, July 3rd and 4th was the BC Soccer 2010 Premier (A) Cup Youth Soccer Championships at the McArthur Island Sports Complex hosted by the Kamloops Youth Soccer Association.
Provincial Premier (A) Cup competition is staged annually in the boys U-13, U-14, U-16 and U-18 age groups, and the girls U-13, U-14, U-15, U-16, U-17 and U-18 divisions, when there is a challenge from one or more interior districts. However, as there was no challenger from the interior in the U-17 Girls Division, the Coastal Champion, Langley FC, were automatically declared Provincial Premier Cup Champions.
Champions in the U-14, U-16 and U-18 boys and girls divisions qualify for the BMO National Championships in October.
Over two days of competition, nine Provincial champions were declared in the boys and girls U-13 up to U-18 Divisions.

SATURDAY, JULY 3:
10:00am – Field #2 – Boys Under-16 – Surrey Selects-1 vs. Kelowna United-2

Congratulations to the Surrey FC Pegasus U16 girls team who will now represent British Columbia at the BMO National Championships in Vaughn, Ontario this October!
3:00pm – Field #1 – Girls Under-13 – Guildford AC-6 vs. Kelowna United-0
Congratulations to Guildford Athletic Club on winning the U15 Provincial Premier Championship!
3:00pm – Field #2 – Boys Under-13 – Kamloops Blaze-0 vs. Richmond Young Gunners-3
