BC Summer Games

The BC Summer Games are British Columbia’s biennial celebration of sport and community. Since 1978, the BC Games have taken place in 38 communities and have involved over 350,000 participants and volunteers, as well as thousands more as spectators and supporters.

General Information

The purpose of the BC Games is “To provide an opportunity for the development of athletes, coaches, and officials in preparation for higher levels of competition in a multi-sport event which promotes interest and participation in sport and sporting activities, individual achievement and community development.” This experience is an important development opportunity and a stepping stone towards higher-level sports competitions.

  • Dates: July 17-21, 2024
  • Location: Maple Ridge, BC
  • Soccer Age Category: U15 Boys and Girls (players must be born in 2009 and 2010 only)

Player Participation Information

  • Player Identification Events will tentatively take place in April/May and will be posted as they are confirmed. 
  • Athletes interested in playing on a BC Summer Games (BCSG) team must attend an Player Identification Events in the Zone where they make their permanent residence. Please check the BC Summer Games Zones and Zone Details for the correct Zone.

  • Boys: Saturday, May 4th 10:00 am in Smithers
  • Girls: Sunday, May 5th 11:00 am in Smithers

  • Boys: Sunday, April 28th, 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm at the Quesnel Youth Soccer Facility in Quesnel
  • Girls:
    • Saturday, May 4th, 12:00 - 1:30 pm (NSC Turf) AND 4:30 - 6:00 pm at NSC Turf (Northern Sports Centre, 3333 University Way, Prince George BC)
    • Sunday, May 5th, 10:30 am – 12:00 pm at Rotary Grass (Rotary Fields - 4111 15th Ave, Prince George BC)
