Awards & Scholarships

It takes a lot of special people to provide the soccer experience for the game’s participants, with volunteers accounting for the vast majority. Some sacrifice time with their own families in order to create positive environments for others and are deserving of awards recognition. And for players transitioning from the Youth to Adult game, BC Soccer’s scholarship program supports Grade 12 students in soccer who are seeking post-secondary education.

Awards

BC Soccer, in conjunction with member nominations, provides annual awards for outstanding service to our game. The majority of these awards are typically tied to the current season of play, and nominations are submitted electronically by membership and/or Board recommendations.

Nominations for the 2025 Awards are now open!

Scholarships

For over 17 years, BC Soccer and its generous donors have been proud to support graduating students within BC Soccer’s membership eager to continue their studies in post-secondary institutions. As much as we enjoy seeing young people pursue their academic ambitions, we sincerely encourage our high school graduates to remain in the game and become the next generation of coaches, referees, board members and adult players.

Applications are open for the BC Soccer 2025 Scholarship Program Awards. Deadline to apply is April 30th, 2025.

To learn more, please access the BC Soccer’s Scholarship Policy, the 2025 Scholarship Procedures or contact BC Soccer's Club Engagement Coordinator Lucas Castro.
