2016 Youth Provincial Cups Hosted by Burnaby District Youth Soccer Association, North Vancouver Youth Soccer Association and Pinnacles FC

The top grassroots youth soccer teams from across the province will take to pitches on July 7-10 to compete for three of BC Soccer’s Youth Provincial Championships

Vancouver BC July 2, 2016 – Burnaby District Youth Soccer Association to host the Youth Provincial A Cup, North Shore Youth Soccer Association will host the Les Sinnott Memorial Boys Provincial Cup, and Pinnacles FC will host the Youth Girls Provincial B Cup.

“ I wanted to extend a congratulations to all of the teams for making it to the BC Soccer Provincial Championships and we really look forward to watching some incredible matches,” said Kjeld Brodsgaard, BC Soccer President. “The hosts and volunteers have dedicated hours of work to make these competitions as memorable as possible so I want to thank them for all of their hard work.”

Burnaby District Youth Soccer Association will host 20 boys teams and 20 girls teams who will be competing in five different age divisions U13, U14, U15, U16 and U18. All matches will be played at Burnaby Lake West and for up to date scores and the complete BC Soccer Provincial A Cup Schedule please visit: http://acup.bcsoccer.net

Provincial A Cup matches begin on Thursday July 7 and will run right through until the finals on Sunday July 10. Burnaby Lake West will not only hold matches throughout each day but they will also play host to the BC Soccer Referee Instructor and Assessor Symposium which is run in conjunction to the BC Soccer Provincial A Cup. 
 
The Girls Provincial B Cup will be hosted by Pinnacles FC at multiple fields in Penticton (please CLICK HERE for a field list). Girls teams from Vancouver Island, the interior and the lower mainland will all be playing for the Provincial Girls B Cup trophies.  Matches begin on Thursday July 7 and will continue right through until the finals on Sunday July 10. “The large number of teams that travel from all over the province to compete in the Girls Provincial B Cup makes for a great weekend competition,” said Dan Turvill, BC Soccer Manager of Competitions. “I want to thank Pinnacles FC and all of their volunteers for their work on this competition, especially considering this is the second year in a row that Pinnacles FC has hosted a Provincial Cup.”

The Les Sinnott Memorial Provincial Cup will be hosted by the North Shore Youth Soccer Association at three different locations: Ambleside Fields and Sentinal Secondary and West Vancouver High. Teams from across the province will be competing within their respected age division all with the hope of hoisting the Les Sinnott Memorial Cup trophy.  Matches will begin on Thursday July 7 and will run right through until Sunday July 10.
