2017 Youth Provincial A Cups Hosted by Central City Breakers FC

Top grassroots youth boys and girls soccer teams from across the province will descend on Newton Athletic Park in Surrey on July 6-9 to compete for the Provincial A Cup Trophies.

Vancouver BC July 2, 2016 – From July 6-9. U13-U18 boys and girls teams from throughout the province will arrive at Newton Athletic Park in Surrey to compete, within their respective age divisions, for the BC Soccer Provincial A Cup Trophy. Central City Breakers will host the competition and all of the 44 teams.

“This is going to be a very exciting weekend of soccer as more than 44 teams will leave everything they have on the field,” said Don Dancey, BC Soccer Youth Competitions Chair. “I want to congratulate all of the players for making it this far in the tournament and on behalf of BC Soccer I want to thank Central City Breakers for all the work they have put into this event.”

All players, parents, and fans should keep an eye on BC Soccer’s Instagram account during the provincial cups, as Social Media Contests will be held throughout the weekend! Vancouver Whitecaps FC have supplied the prizes which include Whitecaps FC tickets, team signed soccer balls, and team signed jerseys! BC Soccer would like to thank Central City Breakers for working with BC Soccer to host the 2017 BC Soccer Provincial A Cup.  Hosting a BC Soccer Provincial Championships takes hours of dedication from club representatives as well as from volunteers and Central City Breakers have done an incredible job preparing for this championship which will make for a wonderful experience for all players, coaches, referees, and parents involved.

The BC Soccer Provincial A Cup is run in conjunction with two other youth provincial championships: The Les Sinnott Memorial Boy’s B Cup which is being hosted by North Okanagan Youth Soccer Association in Vernon and the BC Soccer Girls’ Provincial B Cup which is being hosted by Coastal FC in Surrey.
