Adult Provincial Cup Draw Results and Matchups

Vancouver BC, March 30, 2015 – BC Soccer held the annual Adult Provincial Cup Draw on March 30 at the Sandman Hotel in Langley.  More than 75 people attended and a live stream for those who couldn’t attend was available.  Results of the draws can be found at http://adultprovincials.bcsoccer.net, which is a specific site for all information pertaining to BC Soccer’s Adult Provincial Championships.

”It was amazing to see attendees from leagues, clubs and teams as well as special guests like Vancouver Island native and Canadian Women’s National Team player Emily Zurrer, at the draw which really made the event something special,” said Kjeld Brodsgaard, BC Soccer First Vice President. “All of those who attended really helped make the Adult Provincial Cup Draw a huge success and now that all the matchups have been established we can look forward to watching some great soccer games in the coming weeks”

Special guests Emily Zurrer (Canadian Women’s National Team Player), Tyler Green (Host of AM 650 Soccer Talk) and, Taunya Geelhoed (Vancouver Marketing Manager FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015) were joined by Kjeld Brodsgaard, BC Soccer First Vice President, Rob Brown BC Soccer VP of Adult, and Roger Barnes, BC Soccer President to conduct the draws. Over 100 teams in eight separate divisions were in the draw and all results can be found at http://adultprovincials.bcsoccer.net 

“We would like to thank all of the special guest speakers and all of the attendees for coming out to enjoy the draw,” said Roger Barnes BC Soccer President.  “There are going to be some incredible matches with some top teams drawing each other and we hope everyone will get out and take in some great soccer while supporting their local club.  Good luck to all of the teams and players!”

BC Soccer’s Adult Provincial Championships will host more than 100  teams that will play down until eight final (four men’s and four women’s) matches are set.  The Women’s Finals will take place on May 9, 2015 at Willoughby Turf Fields in Langley with the Men’s Finals taking place the following day May 10, 2015 also at the Willoughby Turf Fields in Langley.
