Vancouver, BC, June 19, 2014 – At the 2014 BC Soccer Annual General Meeting the membership of the association approved bylaw amendments which require full member Youth Districts and Full Member Adult Leagues to be registered societies in BC by December 31, 2015. The membership added to this by approving an amendment which only allows Youth District Soccer Associations to affiliate not for profit registered society clubs.
All Youth Coaches in BC are mandated to acquire age specific coaching courses by June 2016
15 graduating youth soccer participants in BC to receive a total of over $16,000 in scholarships on July 12
The five day program for U13-U15 players took place in Vaughan, ON which helps Canada Soccer scout for the U15 Women’s CONCACAF Championships in August
Vancouver, BC: The BC Soccer Annual General Meeting took place Saturday June 14, 2014 and membership voted on a number of important amendments to the association’s Bylaws/Constitution and Rules/Regulations which took effect as of June 15, 2014.

Chris Appleby (North Vancouver) and Rob Lennox (North Vancouver) were also re-elected on 2 year terms in the positions of VP Finance and VP Youth respectively.
There will again be two soccer clubs in the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows area.
