Vancouver BC August 27, 2014 – Findlay, after 9 years of supporting, leading and delivering positive change in the areas of coaching and player development with BC Soccer, will be leaving to join the Canadian Soccer Association in the full time role of National Staff Coach and will serve as Assistant Coach with the Men’s National Team.

Building on the success of the first 3 years of play, the BC Soccer Premier League is pleased to announce numerous enhanced fall development opportunities within its league structure.
BC Soccer, would like to thank Washington State Adult Soccer Association and South Sound FC for thier warm and kind hospitality at the inaugural Cross Boarder Challenge.
BC Soccer hopes that this game is the beginning of many years of friendly cross-border competition, and they look forward to continuing to build on this relationship.

BC Soccer will host six FREE Referee Refresher Clinics to help ensure all registered referees in the Coastal region are educated and up to date on the FIFA Laws of the Game
As the intake under 13 player begins their involvement with the EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League, there will be amendments made to the FIFA Laws of the Game to assist with the full field transition during the September to November timeframe.
The use of a retreat line will be introduced to promote young players during goal kicks to improve their ability to play out from the back rather than kicking the ball away from their goal and down field.
By introducing a retreat line, the EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League believes that the game will become more rewarding for intake players graduating into the under 13 age group in January 2015.
