Vancouver BC, October 31, 2017 – BC Soccer is pleased to announce Mountain United FC have achieved standard 1 of the BC Soccer Club Charter Program. Achieving standard 1 of the BC Soccer Club Charter Program required Mountain United FC to meet criteria outlined within the program. The criteria are based on three top-line categories: Technical; Governance; and Administrative. Mountain United FC operates within the EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League with girls and boys teams in the U13-U18 age divisions.
BC Soccer’s Club Charter Program Standard 2 and Standard 3 will not currently be released as previously scheduled in 2017 and 2018 as BC Soccer supports Canada Soccer’s new club licensing program
Vancouver BC, October 27, 2017 - BC Soccer is pleased to provide the Technical Director Diploma course focused on supporting individuals who are responsible for providing technical leadership for their soccer organization. This course is aimed at individuals who currently hold a Technical Director position and for those who may be in the capacity to oversee those responsibilities whether full-time, part-time, or as a volunteer. The TD Diploma course is also for those individuals who want to learn the skills to pursue a role as a technical lead in the future.
BC Soccer’s 2017 High Performance Program (HPP) which is designed to support the EA Sports BCSPL along with Whitecaps FC Residency and BC REX Programs, will continue with the second camp of 2017. The HPP will continue to provide a platform for high-performance youth players to be assessed by both those of Whitecaps FC and Canada Soccer programs.
Kamloops Youth Soccer Association, Richmond Soccer Association, Burnaby District Youth Soccer Association and Vancouver Island Wave to host 2018 Provincial Championships
Vancouver, BC October 16, 2017: Each year organizations within the BC Soccer membership submit bids to host the BC Soccer Youth Provincial Championships. After careful consideration of all provincial cup bids, which we are thankful to have received, BC Soccer is excited to announce the 2018 Provincial Cup final Hosts! Kamloops Youth Soccer Association will host the Girl’s B Cup finals, Richmond Soccer Association will host the A Cup finals, Burnaby District Youth Soccer Association will host the Les Sinnott Memorial Cup finals, and Vancouver Island Wave will host the BC Soccer Premier Cup finals.

Vancouver BC October 09, 2017 – Three BC teams represented Britsh Columbia at the Canada Soccer Club National Challenge and Jubilee Trophy competitions. Surrey United Soccer Club finished with a silver medal in the Women’s Jubilee trophy with NSGSC Renegades finishing in eight place. In the Men’s Challenge Cup, Club Inter beat out Quebec in a shootout in their final match of the tournament to finish in 5th place.
Vancouver BC October 09, 2017 – Two U15 and two U17 British Columbia soccer teams returned from the Canada Soccer Club Nationals. Surrey United Soccer Club finished with a gold medal in the Women’s U15 competition with Mountain United finishing in 5th place in Men’s U15 competition. In the U17 competitions, Coquitlam Metro-Ford finished in 5th place in the Women’s competition and in the Men's competition Coquitlam Metro Ford finished in 4th place. The U15 competition was held in Calgary, Alberta, while the U17 Competition was held in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
