Three more Clubs Achieve Standard 1 of the BC Soccer Club Charter Program

achieve Standard 1 of the BC Soccer Club Charter Program! 
 

Vancouver BC, February 22, 2018 – BC Soccer is pleased to announce that three more clubs, West Vancouver Soccer Club, Central City Breakers Football Club, and Surrey Soccer Club, have achieved Standard 1 of the BC Soccer Club Charter Program. The program is based on meeting Administrative, Technical, and Governance criteria. The criteria and the program were created to help assure players, parents, coaches, and administrators that their club is operating and meeting a set of on- and off-field standards.

C License Course in Kamloops and Kelowna

February 7, 2018 Vancouver BC - BC Soccer is proud to have delivered a 4-day regional C License course in late January. The course was held over two weekends in Kamloops and Kelowna training 18 candidates from around the province.

Soccer Players from BC well Represented

With the introduction of the BC Soccer Premier League six years ago, as well as more comprehensive youth programming introduced and operated by the Vancouver Whitecaps FC as they transitioned into MLS, BC Soccer has worked with its Membership and Stakeholders to set in place a clearer and recognized player development pathway. The primary goals are to better support players in their individual development, have more BC based players selected to participate in these professional operated programs, with the ultimate objective of having a higher percentage of players from BC (compared to BC’s total BC player population within Canada) on Canadian Soccer youth national teams.

Fusion FC Achieve Standard 1 of the BC Soccer Club Charter Program

                                    
    
Vancouver BC, February 1, 2018
– BC Soccer is pleased to announce Fusion FC have achieved standard 1 of the BC Soccer Club Charter Program. Achieving Standard 1 of the BC Soccer Club Charter Program required Fusion FC to meet criteria outlined within the program. The criteria is based on three top-line categories: Technical; Governance; and Administrative.
