Canada returns to Vancouver for crucial Concacaf Nations League Qualifying match

Vancouver, BC November 26, 2018 - Canada returns to Vancouver, British Columbia for a crucial Concacaf Nations League Qualifying match on Sunday 24 March at BC Place. The home match will feature a rematch of last year’s Concacaf Gold Cup opener between Canada and French Guiana, with Canada looking to secure its place in Group A of 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League and the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup.

Nelson Soccer Association Achieves BC Soccer Club Charter Standard 1!

November 14, 2018 Vancouver BC – BC Soccer is proud to announce that Nelson Soccer Association (NSA) is the first organization outside of the Coastal region and the BCSPL to meet the criteria and receive the designation of BC Soccer’s Club Charter Standard 1. NSA achieved the standard 1 by completed the application process which involved meeting criteria within three top line categories: Technical; Governance; and Administrative.

BC Soccer Supports Physical Literacy

Vancouver, BC - BC Soccer is pleased to introduce the Physical Literacy Movement Preparation Training and Coach Workshops. All member organizations and affiliated soccer clubs are encouraged to host a workshop for all coaches who work with young children in the developmental age groups.

Lest We Forget 2018

BC Soccer would like to recognize and honour all Veterans on November 11, Remembrance Day and, for those members organizations and leagues that have matches taking place on this day and over this weekend, we encourage a moment of silence prior to kick off.

Please also note, due to Remembrance Day, the BC Soccer Offices will be closed on Monday, November 12th.
