BC Soccer 2017 Scholarship Winners

17 graduating youth soccer participants in BC received a total of $21,700 in scholarships at the BC Soccer Awards and Scholarships Luncheon

Vancouver, BC, August 4, 2017 – BC Soccer was proud to present 17 Scholarships to some of BC’s most inspiring and promising individuals who were active within the British Columbia soccer community.  Recipients came from all regions of British Columbia and were recognized for excelling in academics and also for their continued contributions to society and soccer at many different levels and in many different forms.

“Each one of the scholarship recipients is very deserving and on behalf of BC Soccer and the membership we’re happy to be able to offer these scholarships which we hope will help each recipient with their future endeavors,” said Jason Elligott, BC Soccer Executive Director. “We also want to thank the scholarship donors for their continued support. Without the donors, the scholarship opportunities through BC Soccer wouldn’t be nearly as successful and we are grateful for all of their contributions.”

Each of the BC Soccer Scholarship winners have shown an incredible dedication within both their soccer and academic endeavors in British Columbia.  The seventeen recipients listed below are all headed off to universities to continue their studies as they strive to achieve their future goals, both on and off the field.
