BC Soccer Adult Provincial Cup Draw March 30 at the Sandman Hotel in Langley

BC Soccer will be hosting the Adult Provincial Cup Draw from 7-9 P.M. on March 30

Vancouver BC, March 2, 2015 – From 7-9 P.M. On March 30, BC Soccer will host the Adult Provincial Cup Draw at the Sandman Hotel at 8828 - 201 Street Langley, BC.  Players teams, clubs and leagues in the draw are encouraged to attend as BC Soccer will have special guest speakers, drinks, food, and prize draws on hand.  For those from outside the lower mainland BC Soccer will be working with to live stream the event which will be viewable at

“This an exciting time of year for adult soccer in British Columbia and we really hope as many clubs and league representatives who are part of the competition able to attend,” said Rob Brown, BC Soccer Vice President Adult and Chair of the Adult Competition Committee. “It’s going to be a great event and we are very happy can offer a live stream for all of those who can’t attend.”

More than 100 adult league teams will be part of the eight different draws that will all happen on Monday March 30.  BC Soccer will have special guests from the FIFA Women’s World Cup, Whitecaps FC, and Soccer Talk to help conduct the official draw.  Food and drinks along with a collection of prizes will be available for those who are able to attend in person.

“ This is an extremely important day for all of the adult teams competing in the Provincial Championships and we look forward to making this and incredible event for those who are able to attend and those who are watching the live stream,” said Kjeld Brodsgaard, BC Soccer First Vice President. “Many of the teams who win their respective provincial cup will go on to represent their club, league and BC Soccer at national and regional competitions and I would like to wish all of the teams the best of luck in both the draw and their matches”

There are four divisions of competition for Adults:  

  • Under 21 (age group)
  • Masters / Classics (Men / Women over 35 age group)
  • Adult Provincial A Cup (open age group)
  • Adult Provincial B Cup (open age group)

The Champions in the Adult Provincial A Cup divisions qualify to compete at the National Club Championships organized by the Canadian Soccer Association.
