BC Soccer Appoints New Board of Director and Hires New Member Services Coordinator

Chuck Bennett Appointed as New Board of Director and Ryan McQuillan hired as Member Services Coordinator

Vancouver BC December 15, 2015 – BC Soccer has appointed Chuck Bennett as a new Board of Director and hired Ryan McQuillan as a new Member Services Coordinator. Chuck Bennett has been appointed, as per BC Soccer bylaws, for the remaining of Dino Anastopulos’ term as Dino has resigned. 

BC Soccer also welcomes Ryan McQuillan to their staff team as a Member Services Coordinator. Along with various membership support duties which will include registration and governance, Ryan will also provide assistance to BC Soccer’s Finance Department.

“We are really pleased to welcome Chuck Bennett onto the BC Soccer board and his experience both working in adult and youth soccer in the interior as well as his professional experience working in media makes him a very valuable asset to the BC Soccer,” said Roger Barnes, BC Soccer President.”

Chuck Bennett comes to the BC Soccer board with a wealth of media and soccer experience.  His work as the District Chair of Nelson Youth Soccer Association gives him a solid understanding of the local and provincial soccer environment as well as shows his dedication to the development of the game.  Chuck also has worked very closely with the media in the interior and his understanding of the media landscape across the province makes him an invaluable asset to the BC Soccer board and membership.  Along with the appointment of Chuck Bennett, BC Soccer would also like to welcome Ryan McQuillan as a new Member Services Coordinator.
