“Harry Manson was a true soccer pioneer in BC as he was a strong driver behind the formal organization of the Naniamo Indian Wanders and the captain of the first indigenous team to win the BC Soccer Provincial Championships,” said Roger Barnes, President of  BC Soccer. “It was a wonderful event and it was great to see Chris Bennett and Geri Donnelly inducted into the hall of fame both of whom have numerous soccer successes and have given back so much to the game.”

BC Soccer would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate the entire 2000 Canada Soccer National Team that was inducted with the Geri Donnelly, Chris Bennett and the late Harry Manson.  The 2000 Canada Soccer National Team won the CONCACAF Gold Cup and the team included eight British Columbians: Craig Forrest, Carlo Coazzin, Davide Xausa, Jeff Clarke, Mark Watson, Garret Kusch, Martin Nash and Pat Onstad.
