Congratulations to all of the BC Teams who Competed in the Canada Soccer Club National Championships this past week

BC Soccer would also like to thank Coastal FC for hosting an incredible U18 National Club Championship

Vancouver BC, October 14, 2014 – BC Soccer would like to congratulate the nine teams who represented British Columbia at the Canada Soccer Club National Championships and they  would also like to thank Coastal FC for hosting a successful U18 National Championship at South Surrey Athletic Park.

Six of the BC teams returned home with medals including two gold medals in the U16 and U18 Boys Championship; two silver medals in the U14 Boys and the Women’s Jubilee Championships (open aged); and two bronze medals in the U18 Boys and the U18 Girls division.

“It was an incredible week of soccer for all of the BC teams at the Canada Soccer Club National Championships and we want to congratulate them all on an amazing season,” said Roger Barnes, BC Soccer President. “The U18 Championships were hosted by Coastal FC at the South Surrey Athletic Park and not only did British Columbia representatives receive a gold and bronze medal but the hard work and commitment that was displayed by Coastal FC and their staff was second to none. The U18 Championships were run very smoothly and we want to thank everyone at Coastal FC for their work.”
