Good Luck to Canadian Women's National Team

BC Soccer and the thousands of soccer supports from across British Columbia want the Canadian Women’s National team to know we will be cheering you on in Sunday's match against Switzerland right here in BC.

More than 50,000 fans will be supporting Canada inside BC place on Sunday June 21 but BC Soccer also wants to add the supportive voices of thousands of players, parents, coaches and rest of the BC Soccer community.

The BC Soccer giant jersey known as “Big Red” has been touring BC in the last 18 months, to create awareness of the Women’s World Cup Canada 2015, and to allow players across BC to add their signatures to express their support to the shirt’s “Go Canada Go” message.

The jersey has traveled more than 4,000 km across BC, including Creston, Prince George, Victoria, Nanaimo, Surrey, Vancouver, Langley and many more communities. Thousands of young girls, boys, women and men who are the heart and soul of soccer in BC have signed the jersey, all cheering on Canada and BC Soccer wants the national team to hear them loud and clear.

BC's own, Christine Sinclair, Sophie Schmidt, Emily Zurrer and Karina LeBlanc have been incredible role models and have made the entire province and the communities in which they grew up proud.  BC soccer wishes them and the entire Canada Women’s National team GOOD LUCK!
