Head Coach Announcement BC Soccer's High Performance Programming for January 2015

High Performance Programming for 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 born players

Vancouver BC, October 24, 2014 – BC Soccer’s new High Performance Programming (formerly known as the Provincial Development Program) will begin its first project in January, 2015. The program will continue to be based around the EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League Schedule (BCSPL) and will continue to provide a platform for high-performance youth players to be assessed.

BC Soccer and the EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League have been building stronger partnerships with Canada Soccer and Vancouver Whitecaps FC and these changes to the High Performance Programming will help create a clearer player pathway that connects all of these organizations. The programming is scheduled around the BCSPL which will allow coaches and players the best possible environment for player identification by Canada Soccer and Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

The BC Soccer High Performance Programming will be for 1999/2000/2001 born players with a separate intake for 2002 born players.  The 2002 intake players will go through a three day program that will involve 36 male and 36 female players with the 1999/2000/2001 programs consisting of four days and 24 male and 24 female players (per age group).
