Michael Findlay named Canada Soccer Men's National Team Interim Coach

BC Soccer would like to congratulate Michael Findlay who was recently announced as the Canada Soccer Men’s National Team Interim Head Coach.

Findlay most recently was the Assistant Coach of the Canada Soccer men’s national team but prior to that he worked for BC Soccer as the Director of Soccer Development. Michael contributed vastly to both the structure and development of youth soccer in British Columbia and he played a leading role in developing and introducing the EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League. 

“Michael Findlay was a staff member of BC Soccer for more than a decade and on behalf of the entire association, I would like to congratulate him on being named as the Interim Head Coach of the Canada Soccer Men’s National Team,” said Jason Elligott, BC Soccer Executive Director.

As head coach Michael Findlay be leading the Canada Soccer Men's National team as they head down to Marrakech MAR for two friendlies: 7 October against Mauritania; and, 11 October against Morocco. Both matches will be played in Marrakech, MAR.
