National Coaches Week September 17-25

#Thanks Coach

Vancouver BC, September 16, 2016 - Coaches dedicate hours and hours of their time to help people of all ages and abilities and BC soccer wants to thank all of them for their time and commitment #thankscoach. BC Soccer is also encouraging all players, parents, and fans to give a special thanks to coaches throughout national coaching week which runs from September 17-25.

BC Soccer and their membership offer a wide variety of Licensing and Community coaching courses which are age specific. BC Soccer recommends all coaches obtain soccer training for players at the right stage of their development. As players grow and develop their skills it is important for coaches to be equipped with the right tools at the right time to provide the right environment for players, parents and coaching staff alike. Every course within the Community Stream is age specific and aligns with Canada Soccer’s Long Term Player Development Model.  The Licensing stream courses are for those coaches who are looking to pursue coaching within a high performance environment.

Coach Education continues to be a major priority with BC Soccer it is now mandated that coaches have the proper age specific coach education.
