The Provincial Premier Cup Finals Kick off On Saturday June 23

Vancouver Island Wave hosts top EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League teams at Westhills Stadium and Goudy Field in Langford
 

Vancouver BC, June 20, 2018 – The very best youth teams from the EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League will take to the pitches on Saturday June 23 and Sunday June 24 to play for the BC Soccer Provincial Premier Cup.  Vancouver Island Wave will host all of the teams at Westhills Stadium and Goudy field in Langford with the boy’s matches taking place on Saturday and the girl’s matches taking place on Sunday. “Some of the top girls and boys U13-U18 teams in the BC Soccer Premier League are headed to Vancouver Island to play for the Premier Cup which should make for an amazing weekend of soccer,” said Kjeld Brodsgaard, BC Soccer President “The hosts, Vancouver Island Wave,  have done incredible work organizing this Provincial Premier Cup and we are really looking forward to watching some of BC’s best youth players take to the pitches in Langford.”

Six clubs from the BCSPL will be represented at the Provincial Premier Cup including: Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC, Surrey United SC, Coastal FC, Fusion FC, Mountain United FC, and hosts Vancouver Island Wave.

“This is a very exciting time for these young players, especially those competing in the U15 and U17 age divisions as they will also be vying for a Canada Soccer Club National berth,” Continued Brodsgaard. “We encourage everyone and anyone to come out and cheer on these top young players.” 

BC Soccer is pleased to support the Premier Cup and also announce an extended partnership with Soccer Express. For the first time there will be an online store at which players, coaches and families can purchase customized 2018 BC Soccer Provincial Cup gear.

Each provincial cup competition has its own specific online store which is now open. Items purchased online prior to the match will be ready for pick up at the event. Please be aware that there will be an onsite activation at which apparel can be purchased and pressed as well. Online stores will be open for a month after the event in the case people want to buy apparel and miss their chance before or at the event.
