The Provincial Premier Cup Finals Kick off On Saturday June 25

Thompson Okanagan FC hosts the top EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League teams at the Apple Bowl in Kelowna

Vancouver BC, June 22 2016 – The very best youth teams from the EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League will take to the pitches on Saturday June 25 and Sunday June 26 to play for the BC Soccer Provincial Premier Cup.  Thompson Okanagan FC will host all of the teams at the Apple Bowl in Kelowna with the boy’s matches taking place on Saturday and the girl’s matches taking place on the Sunday.

“Twenty of the top teams in the BCSPL are headed to the Premier Cup which should make for an amazing weekend of soccer,” said Don Dancey, BC Soccer Youth Competitions Chair. “Thompson Okanagan FC have done incredible work putting this Provincial Premier Cup together we are really looking forward to watching some of BC’s best youth players in action.”

Seven clubs from the BCSPL will be represented at the Provincial Premier Cup including: Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC, Surrey United SC, Coastal FC, Fusion FC, Fraser Valley Premier, Mountain United FC, and hosts Thompson Okanagan.

“The matches in the U14, U16 and U18 age divisions are also qualifying matches to determine which teams will represent British Columbia at the Canada Soccer Association Sport Chek National Championships, so this is should make for some very exciting games,” said Carlos Grosso, BC Soccer Director and High Performance Committee Chair.“We welcome anyone in the Kelowna to come out and enjoy some of the matches and to see some of the best young players from around British Columbia.”
