2023 BC Soccer Provincial ‘A’ Cup in South Surrey

Successful competition held from June 29th to July 2nd in Surrey, BC.

The 2023 BC Soccer Provincial ‘A’ Cup held in Surrey this past weekend was a thrilling showcase of soccer talent! Teams from various regions across British Columbia battled it out on the pitch, delivering an unforgettable Cup filled with memorable moments and impressive displays of skill. Hosted at South Surrey's state-of-the-art soccer facilities, attracted a large gathering of passionate fans and supporters. The tournament featured both Male and Female divisions, with teams competing in various age categories.

In the U-18 Male division, the final match witnessed an intense clash between North Vancouver and ICSF Azzurri. The spectators were treated to an exhilarating contest as both teams showcased their technical abilities and tactical prowess. After a hard-fought battle, North Vancouver emerged victorious, securing a 2-1 win, and capturing the prestigious Provincial ‘A’ cup title!

Not to be outdone, the U-13 Female division witnessed a thrilling finale between North Shore Girls and Coquitlam Metro-Ford. The match unfolded with back-and-forth action, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats. In a closely contested affair, Coquitlam Metro-Ford emerged as champions and etched their names into the tournament's history.

As the sun set on the BC Soccer Provincial ‘A’ Cup in Surrey, players and supporters departed with memories that will last a lifetime. The tournament not only crowned deserving champions but also served as a testament to the passion and talent within the British Columbia soccer community.

BC Soccer thanks everyone involved in making this year's Provincial ‘A Cup’ a success! The Youth Championships continue this coming weekend with the Provincial “B” Cup taking place in Kamloops, hosted by Kamloops Youth Soccer Association.
