2025 BC Soccer Provincial Championships Regulations Posted

Following review, the 2025 Adult Youth Provincial Championship, 2025 Youth Provincial Championship - Premier Cup, 2025 Youth Provincial Championship A and B-Cup Regulations have been amended to better improve satisfaction for players, leagues, and team officials attending the events and to continue to enhance the quality of competition at each Provincial Cup. The Regulations for the 2025 Provincial Championships are now posted. Some of the highlighted changes include:

 

Adult Provincial Championship

  • New Player Registration deadline of March 1st

  • Allocation request and qualification process submitted by interested Leagues annually by December 1, and confirmed by January 15

  • Modified Adult League reporting and payment deadlines

  • Field Booking Grant increase

 

Youth Provincial Championship - Premier Cup

  • Separation from A-Cup and B-Cup Regulations to align with the BCSPL Operations Manual and Canada Soccer PDP Championships

  • Transfer and New Player Registration deadlines

  • Updated qualification process into National Competitions

  • Field Booking and Travel Grant increases

  • Clarity to competition format and seeding throughout round-play

  • Player Permit and Eligibility Regulations, including player movement

 

Youth Provincial Championships - A-Cup, Girls B-Cup, and Les Sinnott Boys B-Cup

  • A-Cup Competition modified from a 6-team competitions to a 4-team competition

  • Clarity to Regional Qualifiers completion deadline

  • Coaching Certifications modified to ‘Soccer for Life’ for both A and B-Cup competitions
