2025 BCSPL Mid-Season Update

The 2025 BC Soccer Premier League (BCSPL) is just past its midway point of the 2025 playing season and the league continues to bring the action, but this time, with three new clubs in the mix during the competition season.

This playing season has welcomed Abbotsford SC, Port Moody SC, and Ridge Meadows SC to the U14 age group. These three clubs are working diligently on and off the field to support the development pathway within their club and across the province.

“The recent expansion of the BCSPL signifies continued growth of soccer in B.C.”, says Sian Bagshawe, BCSPL General Manager. “Not only do these three clubs give players more options for their development pathway in a standards-based environment, but coaches now have more options to develop as well.”

There are four match weeks remaining before the BC Soccer Provincial Premier Cup begins over the May 31st/June 1st weekend. All the hard work and determination the coaches and players have put in over the last five months will culminate in a great end to the regular season as teams continue to work toward the Premier Cup Finals on June 21st in South Surrey.

The BCSPL is a standards-based league with a strong focus on development for all players, coaches, and referees. Check out our BCSPL SEASON PREVIEW to learn more about the BCSPL.
