Applications Now Being Accepted to Host the 2026-27 BC Soccer Youth Provincial Championships

BC Soccer is accepting applications from British Columbia Youth Districts, Youth Clubs, and/or Tourism Organizations to host the 2026 and 2027 Youth Provincial Championships. These events will be organized and executed by BC Soccer in collaboration with the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) as established by the successful bidding applicant.

The BC Soccer Youth Provincial Championships will be held in three host cities across the Province:

  • Girls and Boys Premier Cup: Under 14 to Under 18 female and male Provincial Championships
  • Girl and Boys A-Cup: Under 14 to Under 18 female and male Provincial Championships
  • Girls and Les Sinnott Memorial Boys B-Cup: Under 14 to Under 18 female and male Provincial Championships

As the Provincial Championships are event properties owned by BC Soccer, the Association oversees all aspects of planning and implementation of these events and will, by written agreement, delegate aspects of the organization and execution of the event to the LOC. The LOC will be responsible for providing the competition and training fields that meet the minimum hosting requirements, and will also take on, with the support of BC Soccer the local responsibility of promotion and community engagement. The LOC will be required to assume the financial responsibilities for hosting the Provincial Championship, with support from BC Soccer through a Hosting Grant.

The successful bids will demonstrate the ability to stage sporting events in a cost-effective manner with a focus on excellence in the following areas: participant experience, facility and event management/operations, as well as community engagement.

BC Soccer requires bidding communities, clubs, leagues or districts to obtain the support of the President/Chair of the local club/district, City, and a Local Soccer Club. The final site selection for the Provincial Championships will be managed by BC Soccer’s Competition Selection Committee.

Interested bid clubs, districts, or communities must submit an application as well as supporting documents to BC Soccer by 17:00hrs PT on November 1 2024. For more information on the hosting standards, and to complete a hosting application, please visit: https://bit.ly/3LYXJTI.
