BC Soccer and Hope and Health are pleased to announce the first annual At Home for Friends Community Camp

Building on the strategic partnership established earlier this year, the organizations are bringing enhanced cultural teachings to participants from across British Columbia.

BC Soccer and Hope and Health are thrilled to invite players and coaches to partake in a very special H3 session at BC Place on the unceded traditional territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ ̱(Tsleil-Waututh).

The “1st Annual Hope and Health at Home for Friends Community Camp” is planned for children and youth ages 10+, running from 10am to noon, this Monday July 25th.

This program is a specially designed H3 session to provide athletes and coaches with a full Hope and Health experience with enhanced cultural teachings and up-close interactions with our dream team coaches, mentors and traditional knowledge carriers.

Sessions Include:

  • A Traditional Opening
  • A Fun Moving Warm-up with our Coast Salish Mascot “Raven”!
  • Skills, Drills, Challenges
  • Reconciliation Star Commitment Station
  • Face Painting
  • Bouncy Castle
  • Prize Draws
  • Snacks + Refreshments
  • Circle Talk* + Mindful Closing
