BC Soccer Announces Squads for the 2025 Canada Summer Games
BC Soccer is proud to announce the selection of 36 players (18 Men/18 Women) who will represent British Columbia at the 2025 Canada Summer Games in St. John’s Newfoundland from August 9-25, 2025.
Both teams will begin their preparation phase on July 2, 2025, featuring a series of friendly matches leading into the Games. These matches will include competition against Alberta’s Canada Summer Games Teams as well as select League1 BC teams.
On the Men's side, Luca Dalla Pace (Burnaby, BC) will be leading the group as the head coach with Mike Salmon (North Vancouver, BC) and Adriano Clemente (Burnaby, BC) rounding out the staff.

Team BC – The Men’s side has been placed in Group B, where they will face Saskatchewan and Ontario in the group stage. The team will kick off their campaign against Saskatchewan on August 11, followed by a match against Ontario on August 12. The winner of Group B will advance to the medal round.
On the Women’s side Niko Marcina (Surrey, BC) will be leading the group as the head coach with Vanessa Hansen (Williams Lake, BC) and Lisa White (Aldergrove, BC) rounding out the staff.

Team BC – The Women’s side has been drawn into Group B for the Canada Summer Games, where they will face the Northwest Territories and Quebec in the group stage. The team will kick off their tournament against the Northwest Territories on August 20, followed by a match against Quebec on August 21. The winner of Group B will advance to the medal round.
