BC Soccer congratulates six BC Organizations on achieving Canada Soccer’s Club Licensing recognition

BC Soccer joins Canada Soccer in announcing five BC based Clubs on achieving a renewal of their National Youth Club License and one club achieving Quality Soccer Provider designation in line with Canada Soccer’s Club Licensing Program designation.

These organizations have worked diligently to achieve the designation and provide a safe and welcoming environment to participants.

We applaud the efforts of the following organizations:

Quality Soccer Provider

National Youth Club License

·       Shuswap Youth Soccer Association

·       Langley United Soccer Association

·       North Vancouver Football Club

·       TSS Academy

·       Vancouver United Soccer Club

·       Surrey Football Club

Starting in 2023, the Quality Soccer Provider designation is a requirement of membership to ensure that all member organization clubs meet the standards required to fulfill the requirements of Canada Soccer’s Safe Sport Roster which was unanimously adopted at the 2019 Canada Soccer Annual Meeting of the Members.

Established in 1904, BC Soccer is the largest provincial sports organization (PSO) in BC and the third largest soccer-specific PSO in Canada with over 150,000 participants, consisting of registered players, coaches, referees, administrators and soccer leaders. As a professional not-for-profit society and a member of Canada Soccer, BC Soccer is committed to providing the widest opportunities for existing and potential participants, as well as provide support in the most effective and appropriate way for current players, parents, volunteers, member clubs, leagues, and districts.
