BC Soccer congratulates this year's scholarship recipients and announces 2022 Awards categories
A refreshed Awards Program this year aims to emphasize core values and recognize remarkable individuals and organizations.
BC Soccer Awards are designed to recognize deserving soccer leaders and organizations nominated on the basis of their remarkable contributions to the development of soccer in British Columbia. Following a complete review of the program, Awards have been reclassified to symbolize the core values of BC Soccer: Excellence, Inclusive, Collaborative, and Safe. Starting in 2022, BC Soccer will be presenting the following Awards:
Excellence

- Administrator of the Year Award
- Player of the Year Award
- Coach of the Year Award
- Werner Winsemann Referee of the Year Award
Collaborative
- AC Sanford Award
- Life Membership Award
- Award of Merit
- Special Recognition Award
Inclusive
- Exceptional Leadership Award
- Woman of Distinction Award
- Community Service Award
Safe Sport
- Safe Sport Organization of the Year Award
More information on the nomination process and selection criteria for awards can be found here. Nominations are now open and can be submitted using this form until August 31st, 2022. Award Winners will be recognized at the 2022 Annual General Meeting in November 2022.

Carrying on with a tradition of over 15 years of supporting graduating students within BC Soccer’s membership who are seeking to continue their studies in post-secondary institutions, BC Soccer, along with its generous donors, would like to extend sincere congratulations to the 2022 BC Soccer Scholarship Recipients:

We sincerely wish our recipients good luck in achieving their scholastic and career goals, while hopefully remaining in the sport as adult players, coaches and referees.
