BC Soccer introduces a new bold and modern brand identity, celebrating community and purpose

A new visual identity, renewed purpose, and modern direction were unveiled today by BC Soccer.

The refreshed brand represents more than just a new look, it reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to uniting communities, inspiring participation, and leading the growth of soccer throughout the province.

“This rebrand is about more than updating a logo, it’s about recognizing the evolution of soccer in BC and aligning our identity with the values, energy, and diversity that define the game and the people who participate.”
- Gabriel Assis, Chief Executive Officer.

The new BC Soccer symbol reimagines the classic soccer ball into five connected shapes, each representing one of the organization’s core member groups: players, coaches, referees, administrators and families. Together, they form a dynamic mark that reflects motion, unity, and the shared love of the game.

Inspired by BC’s natural landscape of rivers, ocean and mountains, the design celebrates movement, connection, and pride in place.

The new colour palette, inspired by the blue and yellow of British Columbia’s flag, while the modern typography and photography style convey energy, inclusivity, and leadership.

The new identity aligns closely with the organization’s strategic vision to grow participation and enhance the soccer experience province-wide.

One of the key goals of our 2025-28 Strategic Plan, the new identity was developed with collaboration, excellence, and in a progressive way.” Said Debbie Pudek, BC Soccer President. “The new identity, reflect our values as an organization and will takes us into the future. BC Soccer has entered a new chapter of reimagining what soccer in BC can be.”

BC Soccer's new brand will be the official identity used across all programs, events, and communications, representing the associations continued leadership in governance, development, and community building.

Beginning today, BC Soccer’s website, mobile app, and digital channels have been updated to reflect the refreshed brand, bringing a consistent, modern voice to how the organization connects with its members and the broader soccer community. BC Soccer's digital presence will continue to undergo changes in the weeks ahead.
