BC Soccer welcomes Louise Reid as Coordinator, Match Official Development

BC Soccer is pleased to welcome Louise Reid as our new Coordinator, Match Official Development

With extensive experience as a referee up to the semi-professional level, a Referee Instructor who has facilitated over 100 courses, and Head Referee of Bays United Football Club, Louise brings a wealth of knowledge and excitement for the role.

This appointment reflects BC Soccer’s commitment to:

  • Supporting match officials: Building confidence and capability across the referee development pathway.

  • Advancing match officials: Promoting excellence and progress for referees at every level of the game.
  • Elevating strategic objectives: Strengthening programs that build capacity and sustainability in soccer officiating across the province.

Louise’s leadership, sector expertise, and commitment to referee development will have a lasting and positive impact on BC Soccer’s match official's and the broader soccer community. We are thrilled to welcome Louise to the team as we build on our strong foundation, and we look forward to the meaningful contributions she will bring to advancing our game across the province.
