BC Soccer Continues Its Partnership with KidSport BC

BC Soccer is thrilled to reaffirm its on going partnership with KidSport BC by reinforcing its commitment to helping make soccer more accessible.

BC Soccer is thrilled to reaffirm its on going partnership with KidSport BC by reinforcing its commitment to helping make soccer more accessible. As a testament to this commitment, BC Soccer is once again providing a donation of $25,000 to support KidSport BC. Soccer holds a special place in the hearts of many British Columbians, and it continues to be the number one recipient of KidSport BC funding in the province. The beneficiaries of this partnership extend to individuals within the BC Soccer membership and affiliated soccer clubs.

BC Soccer believes in the power of soccer to bring communities together and recognizes the importance of helping to remove financial barriers to support children from diverse communities and new Canadians to participate in organized sports. This partnership aligns perfectly with BC Soccer's strategic goals and objectives. Together, our aim is to increase soccer interest and participation while fostering enjoyment, inclusivity, and growth for soccer in BC.

KidSport BC, an organization dedicated to removing financial barriers for children to participate in organized sports, has expressed its gratitude for BC Soccer's continuous support. This partnership becomes even more critical as KidSport BC has witnessed a significant increase in grant applications this year. BC Soccer's donation of $25,000 will play an important role in ensuring that more children in need can participate in a season of soccer.

"We are so incredibly grateful for the continued support from BC Soccer," said Angela Crowther, Director of KidSport BC. "This funding will be instrumental in ensuring that we can continue to meet the growing demand from families in need to help kids participate in soccer."

We are pleased to make this donation to KidSport BC and continue our ongoing partnership with this great organization,” said Jason Elligott, Executive Director of BC Soccer. “We value the work KidSport BC does and encourage others in the soccer community in BC, if they have the means to contribute to their organization. They help kids play sport!”

Additionally, this year marks a significant milestone for KidSport BC, as they celebrate their 30th anniversary.

BC Soccer remains committed to its partnership with KidSport BC and is eager to continue making a positive impact on the lives of young soccer enthusiasts across the province.
