Canada Soccer seeks nominations for new Electoral Committee

Canada Soccer is calling for nominations to fill the positions on its newly established Electoral Committee.

The Electoral Committee is a body of Canada Soccer that is responsible for all tasks of the organization relating to nominations and the supervision of elections at the Annual Meeting of the Members. The elections are for positions on the Canada Soccer Board of Directors and on its independent committees (i.e., Compliance Committee and the Judicial Bodies).

As an independent committee of Canada Soccer, the members of the Electoral Committee do not have a conflicting fiduciary obligation to another organization, receive no direct or indirect material benefit from any such party, and are free of any conflict of interest of a financial, personal or representational nature.

The Official List of candidates will be published by the Electoral Committee no later than 30 days before a Special Meeting of the Members. The Members will elect the candidates whom the Electoral Committee has decided are eligible and qualified to serve on the Electoral Committee.

Candidates should submit all nomination documents by 1600ET Thursday, July 24, 2025.
