Canadian Men's National Team Returns to BC One-Year Out from FIFA26

We are officially one year away from the kickoff of the FIFA World Cup 2026™!

As one of just 16 Host Cities, Vancouver will proudly welcome the world to BC Place for this once-in-a-lifetime event. The newly unveiled countdown clock in the heart of our city is more than just a timer, it’s a symbol of the excitement, pride, and opportunity building across our province.

This is our moment to dream big. FIFA26 can be more than a tournament, it can be a catalyst for transformation. It’s the chance to reimagine the future of soccer in BC, inspiring the next generation, investing in our clubs and communities, and celebrating the incredible stories that make our soccer culture so vibrant.

To mark this exciting milestone, Concacaf has extended a special invitation to the BC Soccer community to attend a major international fixture, Canada vs. Honduras – Tuesday, June 17 at BC Place.

This is your chance to witness world-class soccer right here at home as the Canada Men’s National Team kicks off its 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup campaign. With just one year to go until FIFA26, this match is a key step in the team’s journey and the only Gold Cup game on Canadian soil!
