Celebrate Christine Sinclair as she Retires from International Soccer

BC born and raised, Christine Sinclair has given 329 caps, 190 goals and over 20 years to Canada. Through six FIFA Women’s World Cups, and four Olympic Games – with two Olympic bronze medals and the GOLD in 2021– Sinclair has inspired a nation!

With her quiet leadership and determination, she has shown us what is possible and helped Canada become a soccer country.  As she hangs up her international boots, as the greatest of all time, we want to help her leave a legacy for years to come.

Christine hinted at her retirement on Thursday, October 19th in a simple IG reel that’s been viewed more than a million times. Football’s greatest goal scorer of all time is retiring from international football and will receive the send-off she deserves at both December matches being held in British Columbia.

The celebrations begin with Canada facing Australia on December 1st in Langford and December 5th in Vancouver. Member Organizations are encouraged to support attendance at the match. For more information and to secure tickets, please visit Canada Soccer Website.

Celebrations will continue on December 6th with a private event being hosted on the field of BC Place attended by teammates, alumni, friends, family, corporate partners and various organizations. The evening’s MC will be broadcast personality Kate Beirness and will feature a fireside chat with Christine and former teammate and current GM of women’s soccer at the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Stephanie Labbe. A special performance by country music star Dallas Smith will wrap up the evening.

Organizations interested in supporting Christine and helping her cement her legacy are encouraged to attend. Net proceeds from the evening will go to the Christine Sinclair Foundation. Capacity is limited but tables of ten for 6,500 are still available as well as the option to purchase packs of five tickets for $3,250.
