Celebrating BC Soccer Hall of Fame 2023 Inductees

The British Columbia Soccer Hall of Fame continues its tradition of honouring the best and brightest soccer enthusiasts throughout the province. Established in November 2019, the Hall of Fame recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of British Columbia's soccer players, coaches, referees, builders, and organizations that have made a significant impact on the beautiful game. The BC Soccer Hall of Fame proudly inducted a new class of deserving individuals and teams in 2023. The following individuals are recognized for their achievements as the remarkable Hall of Fame winners for this year.

Builders of the Game

Con Jones

Con Jones receives the Builder Award for his contributions to the sport, on and off the field. His dedication and vision have left a lasting legacy within the soccer community of British Columbia.

William Azzi

William Azzi, another recipient of the Builder Award, has played a pivotal role in shaping the soccer landscape in BC. His passion and commitment to the sport have made a profound impact.

Don Moslin

Don Moslin is honoured with the Builder Award for his invaluable service to soccer in British Columbia. His efforts in promoting and developing the sport have earned him a well-deserved place in the Hall of Fame.

Player Excellence

Daniel Imhof

Daniel Imhof's skills and contributions on the field have earned him the Player Award. His talent and dedication to the game have set the bar high for aspiring soccer players.

Dave Brown

Dave Brown's soccer journey has led him to be recognized with the Player Award.

Drew Ferguson 

Drew Ferguson's prowess on the soccer field is acknowledged with the Player Award. His commitment to the game has made him a standout figure in BC soccer.

Nicci Wright 

Nicci Wright's remarkable accomplishments in soccer have earned her the Player Award. She is a role model for female soccer players in British Columbia.

Distinguished Referee

John Nielsen

John Nielsen's exceptional refereeing career has been instrumental in ensuring fair play and sportsmanship on the soccer field. His expertise and dedication have earned him the Referee Award.

Team of Distinction

1990-1993 Surrey Marlins

The 1990-1993 Surrey Marlins are recognized with the Team of Distinction Award for their outstanding achievements and contributions to soccer during that period. Their teamwork and success serve as a testament to the excellence of British Columbia soccer teams.

We are looking forward to recognizing individuals who have made valuable contributions to soccer in British Columbia and having BC Soccer member representatives all together on November 4th, 2023.

BC Soccer Association

Established in 1904, BC Soccer is the largest provincial sports organization (PSO) in BC and the third largest soccer-specific PSO in Canada with over 150,000 participants, consisting of registered players, coaches, referees, administrators and soccer leaders. As a professional not-for-profit society and a member of Canada Soccer, BC Soccer is committed to providing the widest opportunities for existing and potential participants, as well as provide support in the most effective and appropriate way for current players, parents, volunteers, member clubs, leagues, and districts.
