Final matches for BC teams in the 2023 competition

First ever participation for British Columbia concluded with great demonstration of skills, effort and bravery from BC players

Day 4: Futsal Canadian Championships

NIFA Pacific FC (BC) vs SK Impact (SK)

The last day of the inaugural Women's Futsal Canadian Championships had NIFA Pacific FC and SK Impact come head-to-head for the bronze medal.

The injuries sustained throughout the competition demonstrated to be a critical element for NIFA. With only a few players available, the team put their best effort against a skilled opposition, but were unable to secure a result, falling 9-1 in the end.

NIFA Pacific FC returns to Vancouver Island after proudly representing British Columbia at this inaugural event. Their participation raised awareness for futsal in their local communities and helped solidify a path for all futsal players to a national competition.

Pacific Futsal FC (BC) vs Team Nunavut (NU)

Pacific Futsal FC concluded their participation in the 2023 Men's Futsal National Championships held in Calgary, Alberta with a solid performance against Team Nunavut.

The match proved to be very competitive from the start with both teams determined to finish the competition with a win. Pacific Futsal FC put on a clinical display of attacking, scoring seven goals in the match while conceding just one. The final scoreline read 7-1 in favor of Pacific Futsal FC.

The win was a tribute to the team's hard work and dedication throughout the competition, and it was a moment of enthusiasm for Pacific Futsal FC. Pacific Futsal FC finished their participation as the first ever team to represent British Columbia at a National Futsal Championships.
