Governance Modernization: Town Halls scheduled for 5 locations across BC

BC Soccer Invites All Participants to Help Shape the Future of Soccer in BC

As part of the bold vision outlined in the BC Soccer 2025-28 Strategic Plan , BC Soccer is committed to modernizing governance across British Columbia—with a strong focus on accountability, transparency, and the effective use of resources to achieve collective goals. A key part of this plan is the transformation and integration of our operational structure to create a more participant-centered system to support the needs of players, coaches, officials, and soccer organizations throughout the province.

To help guide this important work, BC Soccer has secured Capitis Consulting to evolve and strengthen the governance of soccer in BC, ensuring the sport continues to thrive in years to come.

Following the initial announcements on March 20 and May 16, BC Soccer is excited to increase the consultation process and invite everyone in the soccer community to participate in a series of Town Hall meetings taking place in five locations across BC. These Town Halls are open to all players, families, coaches, referees, administrators, and anyone passionate about the game. The events will build on the work already completed, including one-on-one consultations with key stakeholders and partners, individual meetings with member organizations and a province-wide survey gathering valuable insights from soccer organizations
