Provincial Program

BC Soccer’s Provincial Program is a player focused initiative, designed to bring identified male and female players into additional training and game-day environments. The majority of players participate in the BC Soccer Premier League but may also be recommended by other membership organizations. In addition to supporting each player’s personal development, the program also aims to create an overall setting that promotes scouting opportunities by Universities, Colleges, professional programming and ultimately, Canada Soccer’s youth national teams programming.

The Provincial Program selects Male and Female players in the U15-U18 age groups for two phases within each calendar year; January to July, and/or from August to December. To view the list of identified Players and Coaches from the 2023 Provincial Program, please click here.

Each phase consists of training sessions, match play, and camp activities. At the end of each phase (December/July), Development Group Players will receive a BC Soccer “Player Progress Report”. These personalized plans are designed to support Players by identifying both areas of strength and improvement. The report is also shared with their Club's respective Technical Director.
