Technical Service Plan
The BC Soccer Technical Service Plan has been designed in consultation with the BC Soccer Membership through the 2021 technical survey and with the BC Soccer, Soccer Development Committee from 2020 to 2022. The service plan is designed to support the delivery of player, coach, and referee development within all playing environments within the BC Soccer system, primarily focused on all clubs regarding of the leagues and competitive environment they participate in. The plan is intended to be delivered on a yearly basis and further evolved over time to meet the ever-changing needs and demands of technical program delivery in BC.
Overview
BC Soccer’s development department has developed technical resources which include player, team, and coach profile documents that are aligned to sample session plans, all working within a wider curriculum. As well as a referee profile and the sharing of Canada Soccer referee development resources. To ensure a better understanding of the resources and how they connect, Soccer Development Staff have developed workshops and club support meetings as well as utilizing online software to support wider access to this information for technical leads, coaches as well as referee instructors and referees across the province.

BC Soccer Technical Resources
BC Soccer’s aim is to promote soccer environments that are inclusive, safe, enjoyable and meet the needs of player development for all participants. To achieve this BC Soccer’s Technical Resources, provide an example of good practice that BC Organizations can fully integrate into their programming or use as a guideline to assist in the on-going development of their own documentation and program delivery.
