2026 BC Soccer Youth Provincial A-Cup hosted by Nanaimo United Football Club

Congratulations to all teams for qualifying for the 2026 Youth Provincial Championships: A-Cup! Nanaimo United Football Club and the City of Nanaimo are excited to host you for this year's championship and we look forward to a weekend of exciting competition.

Host Venue / Competition Headquarters
The Tournament Headquarters is located in the Nanaimo United FC Clubhouse, located in Beban Park at 2300 Bowen Rd. Nanaimo, BC V9T 3K7. Access is off Bowen Road or Labieux Road. The clubhouse is beside the grass fields. 

Primary Venues

  • Beban Grass Fields - 2300 Bowen Rd. Nanaimo, BC V9T 3K7
    • Two grass fields located immediately beside the NUFC Clubhouse / Tournament Headquarters.Washroom facilities and limited male and female changerooms available (shared amongteams). A warm-up area will also be available on the Beban Grass fields.
  • Merle Logan & Second Artificial Turf Fields - 2235 Dorman Road, Nanaimo, BC V9S 3H6 
    • Two turf fields. Washrooms and limited male and female changerooms available (shared among teams).
    • A decent warmup area is not available immediately beside the fields. The Beban Grass Fields warm-up area is 400m away and will be available for use.
  • Harewood Centennial Park Turf Fields - 740 Howard Ave, Nanaimo, BC V9R 3Z2
    • Two turf fields. Parking is available within the park and along Howard Ave. and Seventh St.. Washroom facilities and limited male and female changerooms available (shared among teams). 

Alternate Venue

  • Q'unq'inuqwstuxw NDSS Turf Field - 745 Third St, Nanaimo, BC V9R 6C5
    • One large turf field will serve as the primary alternate venue. Washrooms and limited male and female changerooms available (shared among teams).

General Event Schedule 

  • Thursday, July 9th - First round of matches
  • Friday, July 10th - Second round of matches
  • Saturday, July 11th - Third round of matches
  • Sunday, July 12th - Final & Consolation Rounds

  • All results, schedules and standings will be available on the BC Soccer App

Tournament Merchandise

TNO

Technical / Spectator Areas

  • Only accredited staff and players are permitted in the technical area or around the area where the teams are situated next to the field of play. Field marshals will be assigned to supervise each field, support teams with any relevant concerns, and assist game officials as needed.

First Aid / Taping Station

  • First Aid services will be on site for all games for medical services. They will be located in Beban Park near the Tournament Headquarters beside the Beban Grass Fields or at the Merle Logan Fields. A golf cart will be available to move players as required. An athletic therapist is planned (to be finalized) to also be on site near Tournament Headquarters to provide basic taping services. Athletes requiring preventative taping are asked to bring their own athletic tape. Our athletic therapy partner, Wildwood Health, may be on site to provide additional physio / athletic therapy services for a fee. More details to be shared closer to the event.

Water & Ice

  • All fields have access to drinking water taps or water will be available. Ice will be available at the Tournament Headquarters.

Tents / Benches

  • NUFC will provide tents and benches for all teams at all fields.

Video Recording

  • Given the prevalence of video recording and streaming capacity now available within clubs and teams, NUFC will not be recording or streaming games. All teams are encouraged to set up their video recording devices next to their team bench.
  • NUFC has two VEO cameras available to book for $100 / game. Contact admin@nanaimounitedfc.com to book and arrange payment. Availability based on first to book and pay. NUFC staff will set up and take down the VEO and the link will be shared via email after the game.

Medal Presentations

  • Gold and Silver medal presentations will take place immediately following the games at the Tournament Headquarters. Bronze medal presentations will take place on the pitch immediately following the match.

Food Services

  • Food Services A food truck(s) and / or basic concession will be available near the Tournament Headquarters near the Beban Grass Fields. Food trucks may also be present at the Merle Logan & Second Artificial Turf Fields, and the Harewood Centennial Park Turf Fields.
